All our train travel is at a leisurely pace during the day and we only travel for 2 to 3 hours at a time before heading off to explore the local attractions. You will be able to discover the unspoilt beauty of New Zealand - without suffering any of the "fatigue" associated with other types of travel. What a great way to spend the Northern winter!
